The State Department has determined that certain culturally significant objects from abroad will be temporarily exhibited at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and possibly other venues. This display, titled "Line, Form, Qi: Calligraphic Art from the Fondation INK," is in the national interest. Details of this determination have been published in the Federal Register. For more information, contact Reed Liriano, Program Coordinator at the U.S. Department of State.
Simple Explanation
The State Department says that special art pieces from another country will be shown at a museum in Los Angeles, because they are important to our culture. They think it's a good idea for everyone in the U.S. to see this art.
