    The University of California, Davis, plans to return certain cultural items that are considered sacred objects to Native American tribes or Native Hawaiian organizations. These items include four baskets and three lots of regalia believed to be associated with the Big Valley Band of Pomo Indians in California. The repatriation, guided by the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act, can begin on or after April 17, 2025.
